We have a baby, and he’s awesome!

Posting from my phone, so I’ll be brief… We welcomed Joseph Sawyer into our family at 5:45 yesterday evening! After about 36 hours of pleasant labor, Michele finally squeezed out the newest Awesome. 7lbs 12oz and 20″ long! And, he has a full head of hair!

AND… we’re back at home.

Ok, so it looks like this was a false alarm… strange, considering Michele was have contractions 7-10 minutes apart for about 12 hours. Oh well… we’re ready and excited! Bring on the baby!!

On a side note, as mentioned on the previous post… I’ve set up a twitter account that I plan to use to provide updates once the real deal labor is going on. You can check it out at http://twitter.com/babyawesome . I’ll be able to easily post to this account with my phone, including pictures, so anyone who wants can join in the excitement.
